Pecorino is an Italian sheep's milk cheese primarily produced on the island of Sicily. It is a rindless cheese that is semi-hard in texture.
The cheese is one of most widely used alternatives to Parmesan cheeses. Due to its hard texture and sharp & salty flavor, Pecorino is an excellent grating cheese over pasta dishes, breads, and baking casseroles.

I created this salad to accompany the sheep cheese I got from SuperMarketItaly.com . On their website you can find high quality, imported italian goods that are not available anywhere else. Their delivery options are very convenient and affordable. The cheese is called "Sfizioso" and I firmly recommend it!
