Product Description
Product of Italy
10 bottles - 100 mL each bottle
San Pellegrino Sanbitter is a must when enjoying an aperitivo. What is an aperitivo? In Italy, the hour or two before having dinner is spent in a social setting with friends and family having a light appetizer and one of two drinks. This tradition is called an aperitivo. Sanbitter is the most famous drink used during these pre-dinner gatherings. It can be mixed with alcohol products or simply enjoyed by itself. (Sanbitter DOES NOT contain alcohol).

My favorite apertivo

This is such a good drink (non alcohol). Yes it is slightly bitter like the white on a grapefruit or pomelo mixed with maybe pomegranate.
I found it refreshing without being filling.
The perfect size drink...I just wish it was more readily available -

So happy Supermarket Italy stocks San Pellegrino Bitter.
It is very popular in Italy, and many say it is great after a meal, although it is usually served as an aperitivo (cocktail).
It is sweet with a bitter finish, very slightly carbonated. Now, if just they would import Chinotto too! It's the Italian root beer style drink.
